Select Structure gives you the assurance that your house complies with all Australian building regulations ensuring you have peace of mind during the entire building process.
Compliance begins as soon as you have purchased your land and started the design process. Most new developments require building approval before construction begins.
We can streamline this approvals process for you.
- We check your building plans to ensure they are properly documented.
- We then issue your building approval and guide you through payment of the relevant fees.
- We can support your decision making process when finding a licensed builder or provide advice on how to obtain an owner-builder’s license.
- We can help you complete and submit all of the forms required within the required timeframes.
- We will calculate the building approval fees and provide guidance on your payment options.
- Once all approvals have been granted we will issue a Commencement Notice and register this with the relevant government authorities.
- We will check the licensing of all contractors and subcontractors.
- We will carry out the stepped notifications and inspections during the entire construction process.
- Upon completion of construction, we will issue a certificate that allows you to have legal occupancy or use of the building so you can take up residence in your new home.
